The Research Directorate of the University’s Research Deputy, in coordination with the Faculties of Economics and Computer Science, held a scientific workshop titled “Familiarizing Students with Scientific Articles and How to Publish Them in the Salam Academic Journal” on Wednesday, 2nd of Mizan, 1404 (Solar Hijri), in the university conference hall.
This workshop was conducted with the aim of enhancing the academic and research capacity of students from the mentioned faculties.
The program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the host, Mr. Mohammad Tariq Sayar, Administrative Manager of the Research Deputy, followed by a warm welcome to the participants and a brief introduction to the workshop topic.
Afterward, Mr. Nasir Ahmad Nowidi, the University’s Deputy of Research, delivered his scientific presentation, which consisted of two parts.
In the first part, he explained the concept of a scientific article, its structure, and its components. He then elaborated—using examples—on research proposal writing, how to begin research, and how to collect data from credible sources.
In the second part, he presented in detail the procedure and stages of publishing an article in the Salam Academic Journal.
The academic content presented was met with strong interest and appreciation from the participants.
At the end, guidelines for writing articles and the publication procedure in the Salam Academic Journal were distributed to the students.
