Afghanistan’s Transboundary Water Agreements: A Historical Perspective

The Research Committee of the Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Salam University, held an academic seminar titled “Afghanistan’s Transboundary Water Agreements: A Historical Perspective” on 19/6/1404 in the conference hall of Salam University. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Engineer Bahadur Khan “Khpalwak”, the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Engineer Enayatullah “Quraishi”, several faculty members, and 36 students of the Faculty of Engineering.

The program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Engineer Aimel, one of the students of the Faculty of Engineering. Afterwards, Diploma Engineer Mohammad Qasim “Qeyam” presented his academic seminar on “Afghanistan’s Transboundary Water Agreements: A Historical Perspective”, based on field research and data collected from credible national and international institutions.

At the end, questions from the participants were addressed, and the program concluded with closing remarks and a prayer for the well-being of the nation by Engineer Enayatullah Quraishi.
