On 26th Asad 1404 (Solar Hijri Calendar), a scientific seminar was held in the conference hall with the participation of professors and academic members of Salam University. The seminar was presented by the President of Salam University, Dr. Misbahullah Abdulbaqi, and its aim was to clarify the academic, educational, and ethical roles and responsibilities of professors in the academic environment.
The main content of the seminar was presented in four sections:
Continuous improvement of professors’ academic level: Emphasis on study, research, academic preparation before teaching, and benefiting from experts’ opinions.
Effective transfer of knowledge to students: Learning effective teaching methods and simplifying information for students.
Active participation in academic administration: Professors’ involvement in planning, evaluation, and improvement of the university’s academic management.
The role of experienced professors in guiding new faculty members: Mentorship and transfer of experiences from senior professors to juniors for the growth and strengthening of departments.
The seminar concluded with a prayer led by Ustad Hesbanullah Mutawakkil, Head of the Islamic Culture Department.
