Official Launch of Salam University’s Research Website

On November 7, 2023, Salam University officially launched its Research Center website in a vibrant ceremony. The event brought together the university president, faculty deans, the head of Salam Research Center, and professors from various departments, including Sharia, Law and Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, and Economics.

The academic vice president, Mr. AbuBakr Modaqiq, addressed the audience, expressing pride in this milestone. He announced that the trial phase of the website had been completed successfully and highlighted its importance as a key resource for researchers and students.

During his presentation, Mr. Modaqiq emphasized the platform's user-friendly design and robust search engine, which make accessing materials simple and efficient. He noted that Salam University’s publications would be available for download as PDFs, organized in a systematic order. Articles written by faculty members would also be categorized by topic, author, and keywords for easier navigation.

Additionally, the website includes sections dedicated to student theses and research papers, ensuring a comprehensive repository of academic work. Mr. Modaqiq shared that the website would also serve as a communication hub, providing updates about the university's programs and announcements.

The second half of the event was an interactive Q&A session where attendees inquired about maximizing the website's potential. In his responses, Mr. Modaqiq encouraged faculty members to promote the platform within and beyond the university, emphasizing its role in advancing research and fostering societal progress.

The event concluded with a call to action, urging professors and students to actively engage with the website and make full use of its capabilities.
