A One-Day Workshop on Self-Assessment, Requirements and its Implementation Steps
On Tuesday, 26 September, 2023, Department of Faculty Members held workshop, titled “One-Day Workshop on Self-Assessment, Requirements and its Implementation Steps”. It aimed to build the capacity of lecturers and professors of Salam University.
Master of the program was Mr. Fazal Rahman Fazly, One of the lecturers of Salam University. First, the workshop commenced with the recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran by Mr. Shukrollah Mokhlis, Head of Master’s Program of Salam University. Next, Dr. Misbahullah Abdul Baqi, Chancellor of Salam University made a speech and talked about the importance of Self-assessment in light of Sharia, and shed light on its impacts on boosting quality of teaching and administrative activities.
Moreover, he considered holding such workshops as a significant step to ensure the improvement teaching quality, and added that Salam University plans to arrange more such workshops in order to enhance the methodical and professional capacity of professors and lecturers at the University.
Next, Mr. Abdul Raqib Insaf, Core Trainer, Head of Department of Faculty Members, and Lecturer of Faculty of Sharia of Salam University explained the aforementioned topic to the attendees in detail. Then, the workshop was evaluated positively by the top management of Salam University and participants, and requested arranging more such constructive workshops in the future.
Finally, Mr. Insaf answered the questions posed by the professors, and the workshop ended with supplication by Mr. Qasami.
