Job Description
we are looking for a talented and experienced Teacher of Graphic Design to inspire and educate students in the field of visual communication and design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, with the ability to teach and mentor students in developing their creative skills and technical expertise. Responsibilities include designing and delivering engaging lessons, providing feedback on student work, and fostering a collaborative and innovative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver curriculum that covers fundamentals of the afore-mentioned position.
- Teach students how to use industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator …) and other relevant tools.
- Provide constructive feedback on student projects to help them improve their design skills and techniques
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students through hands-on projects and assignments
- Stay current with trends and developments in the field of graphic design and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into the curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience in graphic design.
- Proficiency in using graphic design software and tools.
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating expertise in various design disciplines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students and colleagues in a creative and dynamic learning environment
