Competitive Mock Trial Program Between the Faculties of Law & Political Science and Sharia at Salam University

Initiated by the Legal Clinic Directorate of Salam University, a competitive mock trial program on a "Hypothetical Criminal Case" was held between students of the Faculties of Law & Political Science and Sharia at the conference hall of Salam University.

The event was attended by the Deans, Department Heads, professors, and students from both faculties.

The program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by one of the participants, followed by an introduction of the program’s agenda by Professor Mohammad Tariq Siyar, a faculty member from the Department of Law.

In the first part of the program, teams of students from the Faculties of Law and Sharia competed against each other, with four professors from both faculties acting as judges. The judges evaluated each team's performance based on the provided scoring sheets. The teams competed based on a random draw.

Subsequently, Professor Fathullah Ahadi, on behalf of the judges, announced the results, declaring the competition as a tie, taking into account the performance of both teams.

In the final segment of the program, shields with the university logo and certificates prepared by the Legal Clinic were presented to the heads, judicial panel members, and other participants from both teams by the professors of the Faculties of Law & Political Science and Sharia. The program concluded with a prayer by Professor Abdul Qadir Ghaznawi.
