Academic  Seminar on "Assessment of Road Deterioration: Asphalt Pavement Failures"

The Civil Engineering Department's Research Committee at Salam University’s Faculty of Engineering organized a academic  seminar titled "Assessment of Road Deterioration: Asphalt Pavement Failures" in the university’s conference hall. The event was attended by the head of the Civil Engineering Department, Engineer Inayatullah Quraishi, several faculty members of the Faculty of Engineering, and 43 students from the department.

The program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Mudassir Arghoshi, a student of the Faculty of Engineering. Following this, Professor Engineer Abdul Nasir Sharifi presented his research-based seminar on the topic. His presentation delved into various types of asphalt pavement deterioration, analyzing their causes and implications based on thorough investigations.

At the conclusion of the seminar, attendees posed questions, which were addressed comprehensively by the presenter. The program was skillfully moderated and concluded with a closing prayer for the well-being of the nation, led by Professor Muhammad Hasib Yousafzai.
