Conference on 24th and 28th of Asad, 1402
On Sunday, August 20, 2023, Salam University held a conference on the 2nd and 104th anniversary of the country's independence.
First, the conference commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Mr. Anamullah Rahman, a lecturer of Law and Political Science Faculty of Salam University.
Next, Dr. Misbahullah Abdul Baqi, Chancellor of Salam University spoke about the importance of gaining independence and fighting against colonization and invaders. Then, Prof. Nasir Ahmed Navidi, Head of Salam University Research Center elaborated on the lessons from the Independence Day and presented some constructive suggestions to the attendees and freedom takers for maintaining the freedom.
After that, Mr. Mawlavi Amirjan Saqib, Deputy of Afghanistan Science Academy, and Mr. Mawlavi Abdul Haq Hammad, the Head of Publications in the Ministry of Information and Culture concisely shed light on the value of independence and embracing freedom.
Finally, the conference ended with Dua by Mr. Hasbanullah Mutawakkul, Head of the Islamic Culture Department of Salam University.
