On 19 November 2025, the Faculty of Computer Science at Salam University held a productive and engaging meeting with its alumni. The session was chaired by Mr. Zarmash Gardiwal, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, and attended by several graduates currently employed in various sectors of the ICT industry.
The meeting was highly fruitful, providing a valuable opportunity for alumni to share their professional experiences, insights, and recommendations regarding the current needs of the job market. Alumni discussed the challenges they faced during their transition from academic life to professional work and highlighted the skills and competencies that are most in demand today. Their contributions gave the faculty a clearer understanding of how the curriculum aligns with real-world industry expectations.
During the session, alumni also offered constructive feedback on how the faculty can further strengthen academic programs, improve practical training, and enhance student readiness for employment. They expressed appreciation for the strong academic foundation provided by Salam University and emphasized the importance of continuous improvement to remain competitive in the rapidly evolving field of technology.
The Dean thanked the participants for their valuable input and assured them that their suggestions would be considered in future planning and curriculum development. The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to strengthening alumni–faculty relations and establishing a collaborative network that benefits both current students and graduates.
