Job Title

Marketing Manager

 

Job Summary:

The marketing manager must manage daily based marketing activities of SALAM University and long term marketing strategy for the University.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Developing and managing competitive marketing strategies and activities within the marketing department for seasonal and promotional advertisement.

2. Coordinating marketing campaigns and overseeing marketing budget.

3. Planning and implementing promotional campaigns, intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels.

4. Managing the Marketing aspects for internal activities such as seminars, exhibitions and debates

5. Exposing the strengths of the University to the wider audience in the following.

a. Quality of Education

b. Outstanding students

c. University structure

d. University relations

e. University position in the Market

6. Building an attractive image of both internal and external outlook of the University building, but having in mind the long and short term objectives of the university.

7. Managing the alumni network and using their career success as a marketing tool and arranging career fairs for graduate students

8. Overlooking the design of the printed media such as brochures, pamphlet and other advertisement.

9. Overall responsibility for brand management and educational corporate identity in the competitive market

10. Monitoring and reporting on effectiveness of marketing communications both throughout the semester and entire year.

11. Maintaining effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant university’s functions are kept informed within the marketing objectives.

12. Improving the visitors experience on the university’s website (Includes design, content and usability)

13. Collecting and evaluating students’ or customer feedback for decision making.

14. Evaluating competitor’s Digital Marketing strategies and creating plans to overtake them

15. Creating innovative digital marketing plans to earn a brand name in Social Media and raise awareness in social media like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, University’s Website and Mainstream Media ( TV Channels)

16. Improving the usability, design contents and updating of the university website

17. Developing strategies and tactics to get the word out about SALAM University and drive qualified traffic to our front door

18. Deploying successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.

19. Conducting market research to get required data and determine marketing requirements for existing and future needs.

Qualifications

Master Degree specialization in Marketing (1 Year Experience)

Bachelor Degree in BBA specialization in Marketing (2 Years’ Experience)

Worked for Educational Organization in the field of marketing will be an asset.



Languages Skills

Fluent oral, written, and comprehensive skills in English, Dari & Pashto
